GOOD SAMARITAN HOSPITAL HONORED BY ROCKLAND BUSINESS ASSOCIATION AT THE 2011 PINNACLE AWARDS
The Outstanding Achievement Award to be presented for Good Samaritan’s Beneficial Community Involvement
SUFFERN, N.Y. (March 7, 2011) – The Rockland Business Association has selected Good Samaritan Hospital of Suffern as the recipient of Outstanding Achievement by a Non-Profit Organization for the 2011 Pinnacle Awards. The award will be presented at the ninth Annual Pinnacle Awards Dinner to be held on May 4, 2011, at the Park Ridge Marriott hotel.
As the word “pinnacle” suggests, these awards represent the highest honor that the Association bestows, recognizing the premier individuals, associations and businesses in the Rockland County business community. Various organizations are evaluated on the basis of outstanding achievements, their contributions to business in Rockland County, and their community involvement over the previous year to determine the Pinnacle Award recipients.
"The Pinnacle program has become the business community's premier recognition event," noted Al Samuels, RBA President/CEO. "Last year's Dinner drew almost 400 attendees and more are expected this year," he said. "Also, the event now features three Presenting Sponsors, Active International, Provident Bank and Key Bank, another indication of the popularity and importance of the event."
This is the ninth year that RBA will recognize outstanding achievements and contributions of various community members in the standard six categories of involvement.
