General Surgeon Michael Jamgochian, MD Joins Good Samaritan Hospital

SUFFERN N.Y. (November 27, 2023) –– Good Samaritan Hospital, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth), announced the appointment ofgeneral surgeon Michael Jamgochian, MD.

“Dr. Jamgochian is an experienced surgeon who will strengthen the surgical services offered at Good Samaritan Hospital,” said Mary P. Leahy, MD, MHA, CEO of Bon Secours Charity Health System/Good Samaritan Hospital. “With his credentials in robotic surgery, he will make an impact on the care we offer to our patients.”

Dr. Jamgochian received his medical degree from the Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies. He completed a general surgery residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY and finished his fellowship training in minimally invasive surgery and bariatric surgery at Long Island Laparoscopic Surgery in Port Jefferson, NY.

Dr. Jamgochian will provide general, laparoscopic and robotic surgical services and is seeing new patients in Suffern at 257 Lafayette Avenue, Suite 200 and in Stony Point at 10 Liberty Square Mall.
