Dr. Matthew Ostrowitz is a board-certified surgeon specializing in general and bariatric surgery. He is a graduate of the State University of New York-Downstate College of Medicine and served his residency at the University of Kansas.
His scope of practice includes advanced minimally invasive surgery, encompassing robotics and single incision laparoscopic surgery, anti-reflux surgery, complex hernias and abdominal wall reconstruction, and treatment of complex wounds.
Dr. Ostrowitz is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the Minimally Invasive and Robotics Association as well as the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. He is published on the topics of robotic surgery and single incision laparoscopic surgery and has presented at national and international conferences.
