Meet Dr. Dennis

Board certified in neurology, clinical neurophysiology and vascular neurology, Lyle J. Dennis, MD, is the chief of neurology for Good Samaritan Hospital. In private practice for over a decade, Dr. Dennis came to Good Samaritan Hospital from Bergen Neurology Consultants in Englewood, NJ.

Dr. Dennis received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City.  He completed his residency and dual fellowship at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center. He directed the stroke centers at both Englewood Hospital and Hackensack University Medical Center, and during those years, also served as a clinical assistant professor of neurology at New York-Presbyterian Medical Center.

Dr.Dennis' accomplishments, however, reach far beyond his daily practice and treatment of patients.  He has authored numerous articles, book chapters and abstracts; has been a presenter at the American Academy of Neurology; has served as a principle investigator in acute stroke clinical trials; and is a recipient of the Alfred Korey award in neurology.
