Richard M. Evans, MD, FACS, Vice President of Surgical Services for Bon Secours Charity Health System and Director of the Bloodless Medicine Surgery Program at Good Samaritan Hospital is also a board-certified urologist and previously served as Chief of Urology for Good Samaritan Hospital for 11 years.  In addition, he served as Director of Office Based Procedures for Advanced Urology- Rockland County Division in West Nyack, NY, and as a Board Member for Integrated Medical Professionals, PLLC, based in Melville, NY.  He  is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Urology for New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY.

Dr. Evans completed his bachelor’s degree in biology at Farleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ, and earned his medical degree at New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. He completed his Surgical and Urology Residencies with NY Medical College affiliated hospitals. He then completed a Laparoscopy/Endourology Fellowship at the University of Minnesota, in Minneapolis.

He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Urologic Association, National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Urology. He received the Sprague Carlton MD Award from New York Medical College and is a member of Phi Zeta Kappa and Phi Omega Epsilon Honors Societies.
