27th Annual Good Samaritan and Sterling National Bank Spring Golf and Tennis Classic open to community

18-hole shamble and tennis tournament held at The Tuxedo Club

Suffern, N.Y. (September 20) – Golf and tennis enthusiasts "played for a purpose" at the 27th Annual Good Samaritan and Sterling National Bank Golf and Tennis Classic. The classic was held at the Tuxedo Club in Tuxedo Park, New York on Tuesday, September20. Proceeds from the event will support the renovation of patient rooms at Good Samaritan Hospital.

In addition to an 18-hole golf shamble and round robin tennis tournament, the classic featured a grand reception with gourmet dining and an auction.
The Golf and Tennis Classic isan important fund raising event for Good Samaritan Hospital. Past year's classic shave helped fund the construction of the new Emergency Department and the renovation of patient rooms.

"Events like the Golf and Tennis Classic are a terrific way for our community to come together to support local health services," said Harold J. Peterson, chair of the Good Samaritan Foundation. "Funds raised here stay here at Good Samaritan, making an important difference in the quality of care our hospital provides."
