Mental Health Outpatient Clinic

The outpatient program at The Monsignor Patrick J. Frawley Psychiatric Unit at Good Samaritan Hospital is designed to treat emotional and psychiatric disorders in adolescents, adults and geriatric patients in a warm and caring environment. The program is licensed and certified by the New York State Department of Mental Health.

Our multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, therapists and nurses design individualized treatment plans for a variety of emotional and mental disorders, which can include a combination of:

  • Individual therapy
  • Family therapy
  • Group therapy
  • Medication

 In addition, our patients have access to a number of comprehensive services in the Alcohol Outpatient Clinic and our Chemical Dependency Program.

We are committed to treating patients respectfully and confidentially, and we use a welcoming, solution-oriented approach to reach their mental health goals.

After the initial evaluation, an individualized treatment plan is formulated and a therapist is assigned.

The Monsignor Patrick J. Frawley Psychiatric Unit at Good Samaritan Hospital recently relocated to the Sheehan Building, still on the grounds of Good Samaritan Hospital, providing additional space and a new healing environment for patients.
