Dr. Goel is a compassionate and caring neurologist. She finds joy in the practice of Neurology and is thankful for the trust her patients place in her.

Prior to pursuing her neurology residency, Dr. Goel was involved in stroke research at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School and University of Washington, Seattle. She then completed her Neurology Residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, TX. She was chosen to serve as chief resident during her final year of residency. She is a published author, cited in five publications. During her final year of training she was awarded the Frank M. Yatsu award for Excellence in Clinical Neurology as well as the award for Excellence in Teaching. She was also the department representative at the Resident Patient Safety and Quality Committee, Memorial Hermann Hospital, Houston during her third year of residency training.

Following her neurology residency, Dr. Goel obtained a Clinical Neurophysiology fellowship (EMG track) at Columbia University Medical Center in New York. Dr. Goel is skilled at performing electrodiagnostic studies- NCS/EMG- that can help in the evaluation of motor neuron disease, muscular dystrophy and neuromuscular junction disorder patients, in addition to mononeuropathies, radiculopathies and polyneuropathies.

Dr. Goel is a member of the American Academy of Neurology as well as American Academy of Physician Leadership. She is a board member of the New York State Neurological Society. She is on the quality committee as well as the ethics subcommittee at Good Samaritan Hospital, Suffern, NY. She holds a position as Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurology in the School of Medicine at New York Medical College.

She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. She is licensed in the states of New Jersey and New York.
